My husband and I have always wanted to visit Rome and see the eternal city for ourselves. There is just so much history and culture to see here. We signed up for all sorts of Rome Tours, but the one that we both enjoyed the most was a food tasting tour of locally owned Rome restaurants. The food was just incredible, I mean, I thought I had eaten Italian food before I went on that tour, but afterwards I knew that what I had eaten before was just a pale imitation of the real thing. We learned all sorts of interesting facts about the local area that the other tours did not address as well. We even got to sample some of the local wine vintages during our walking tour. It was a great way to spend some time not only learning local culture and history but enjoying amazing food at the same time.
